About tocoro

Why this exists.

tocoro is born from a simple conviction: no one should be spied on for reading, speaking, or gathering. Not the journalists who tell what others silence, not the activists, not religious or marginalized communities, not dissidents — and not you either, whether or not you have something "to hide". Privacy isn't suspicious; it's a right.

That's why tocoro was built backwards from the industry: first we decided what we did not want to know about you, then we designed the service around that void. No accounts with your name. No logs of your activity. One flat price. And a sponsored access program so protection doesn't depend on being able to pay for it.

Principles

• Know the minimum. What doesn't exist can't leak and can't be demanded.
• Say the limits. What a VPN can't do, published alongside what it can.
• Charge clearly. One plan, one price, prepaid.

Who

tocoro is an independent project — no ad investors, no data sales. We don't publish who operates it: the same privacy we build for you, applied to ourselves. Our commitments and the data-request log are at /transparency.
