Your connection is your business.

tocoro is a VPN with no accounts tied to your name and no logs of what you do — US$5 a month, flat. Built to work on slow, unstable, or monitored networks.

Why tocoro

Nothing to tell about you

We don't ask for an email, a name, or a phone number. The app generates a random account number — the only identity that exists on our servers.

Open books

We publish the full list of what our database holds, a running count of every data request we receive, and app builds you can verify byte-for-byte.

Built for hard networks

Modern protocols that perform on lossy links and slip past blocking, switching automatically when one fails. It works where other VPNs crawl.

How it works

No signup. No email.

1

Download the app

Straight from here. It updates itself and cryptographically verifies every update before installing it.

2

Open it — done

Your account creates itself: a random number, nothing else. No email, no password, no forms.

3

Connect

Redeem a prepaid code and hit the one button. Another device? Scan your QR code from the app and pick up where you were.

Save your account number: it's your only key. If you want a safety net, you can add a recovery email — it's optional and you can remove it any time.

Data

What we keep, and what we don't

We keep

  • Your account number — random, says nothing about you
  • Your subscription's expiry date
  • Total data usage per account, to run the service
  • Redeemed prepaid codes

We don't keep

  • Your name, email, or phone (email only if you add one for recovery)
  • Browsing history
  • DNS queries
  • Logs linking your IP to your activity

That list is the entire database — everything it could answer to anyone, including a judge. Full privacy policy.

Pricing

One plan. One price.

tocoro — US$5/month

All locations · up to 5 devices · no data caps · full speed, always. Today access is by prepaid code — 1, 3, 6, or 12 months; card payments are coming soon.

Gift protection

A prepaid code can be bought anywhere in the world and redeemed wherever you are. You buy it, your people use it. No names, no cards from whoever redeems it.

Get a prepaid code — write to us

Your subscription pays for development, maintenance, and the servers, and sustains the sponsored access program. Can't pay? If you're a journalist, an activist, or simply can't afford it, the program is for you.

Limits

What a VPN can't do

A VPN hides your traffic from your internet provider and the local network, and hides your IP from the sites you visit. It does not make you anonymous. It doesn't protect a seized phone. It doesn't unpublish what you post under your name. If your safety depends on it, use Tor as well and get specialized advice. What it protects and what it doesn't, in detail.

FAQ

Questions, answered

How do I use tocoro on another device?

Open the app on your current device, go to Account and show the QR code. On the new device pick "I already have an account" and scan it — or type your account number.

What if I lose my account number?

If you added a recovery email, you can recover it from the app. If not, we can't give it back — we don't know which account is yours, and that's exactly the design. Keep your number somewhere safe; the worst you can lose is the subscription time left on it.

Why isn't it on Google Play?

We distribute directly: no store accounts, no waiting for approvals, and the app updates itself, verifying every release. You can also share the installer phone-to-phone, with no internet. Stores may come later.

Where are the servers?

Today: Miami, USA — close to the Caribbean and Latin America. We'd rather run a few real, fast servers than show a fake 90-country map. More locations as demand grows.

Can I pay without leaving a trace?

Yes: with a prepaid code. Codes are bearer instruments — whoever redeems one gives no name, email, or card. When card payments open, the processor will know your payment details, but never your activity.

Who is behind tocoro?

An independent project. We don't publish the operator's identity — deliberately, for the same safety reasons our users value. Why this exists and how to reach us: /about.
